  • EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    Data Center Sberbank of Russia is situated in Innovation center “Skolkovo”, Moscow. It is a complex of buildings operating for the needs of Sberbank of Russia. The complex consists of administrative building, 5 data module building, substation, checkpoint, garage.

    The administrative building is a 3 floors new construction with security, engineers’ and managers’ offices, technical premises for the engineering systems, UPS, servers and a central engineering control system. The 5 data module building is 3 floors each, new construction structure, which consist of machine halls, servers, warehouse, staff premises, power center, UPS, pumping and refrigeration equipment room. The gross floor area of the complex is 11 786 sq. meters.

    HVAC systems

    Тhe Heating of the complex is provided by the central district heating system via local district heating substation equipped with control and safety fittings.

    The heating is established via two pipe water distributions system with:

    floor fan coil units for the premises on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the administrative building.

    panel radiators for the Module and the 1st floor and stairwells of the AB.

    el. heaters for the electrical rooms in the AB and Module in case the process equipment heat gains don’t compensate the heat losses through the building envelope.

    The Cooling of the administrative building is provided by VRV systems, split air conditioners and close control units in the premises.

    The process air conditioning of the5 module’s Data ares is provided by free cooling chiller units with air cooled condensers and high-efficiency central ventilation units (CVU). The chillers supply water-glycol mixture to the CVUs. Each central ventilation unit is coupled with a dedicated cooling machine.

    Ventilation. The mechanical ventilation of the AB is established via air handling units with rotary regenerators, hot water coils, el. heaters and DX cooling sections. The ventilation of the Module is provided by air handling units with rotary regenerators, hot water coils and el. heaters.
