  • Kambanite Business Center

It is located on the periphery of the city at 258 Okolovrasten Pat, Sofia, Bulgaria. The project consists of a single building designed in two functional blocks of 6 and 7 floors. The building is surrounded by surface parking on three sides. The building is vertically attached to another building, which is situated underneath. The two buildings are completely independent and share no common entrances, internal communications, water or energy sources.

    Cooling/Heating Plant

The cooling system of the building includes two separate cooling plants – one for each block of the building. There is no connection built between the cooling plants and they operate independently upon cooling demand from each block. It is recommended the two plants to be connected, which will enable the operation of one or two chillers at a time.

Energy Conservation Measures outlined herein and the ongoing use of the updated BAS to more closely align the building services will result in significant energy efficiency gains, bringing Kambanite Business Center more in line with its peers. It is hoped that in reviewing the energy consumption of the Kambanite Business Center the building owner and facility management team have gained a better understanding of their building and where the main energy is consumed. By implementing the recommended changes and targeting future annual energy consumption reductions, the energy consumption and cost of operating the building shall be reduced
