EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Mars LLC is locating its offices on the second, third, fourth and sixth floors of block 1 of the ALCON Business Center in Moscow. The new Mars National Office consists of office spaces, restrooms and WCs, kitchen, server room and utility spaces. The project is focused on the partial replacement and reconstruction of the existing heating installations and on the connection of the newly installed ventilation and air conditioning equipment to the central building’s ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Heating and Cooling Systems

The air conditioning of the MARS office is performed by the existing HVAC systems of the ALCON Business Center Building and by local fan coil units. The fresh air is prepared in four of the building’s air handling units. Each unit consists of supply section, water / air heating unit, water / air cooling unit and filter sections. The fan coil units are for duct installation, equipped with room thermostats valves.

For the kitchen cooling is established via two split air conditioners. The sever room is provided with three split air conditioners combined into a single group for automatic control.

Ventilation systems

The mechanical ventilation of the premises is established via four central air handling units and exhaust ventilation systems. The air is supplied and exhaust through ceiling diffusers. For the kitchen a separate ventilation system is designed.
