Energy modeling is the virtual or computerized simulation of a building or complex that focuses on energy consumption, utility bills and life cycle costs of various energy related items such as air conditioning, lights and hot water.

Building simulation is the process of using a computer to build a virtual replica of a building.

ASHRAE defines Commissioning as a quality-focused process, which focuses upon verifying and documenting that the facility and all of its systems and assemblies are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained to meet the Owner’s Project Requirements.

LEED Certification requires the COMMISSIONING process in several forms: Fundamental, which is obligatory and Enhanced, which is optional.

We at Termoservice understand the specifics of the LEED certification, especially in regards to Energy Modeling. LEED requires adherence to strict guidelines and mainly to Appendix G from ASHRAE 90.1-2010.

Our company is not only extremely knowledgeable of these guidelines, but our service also provides various assessments of the building for any additional Energy and Environmental Conservation Measure, that are to be implemented via the other LEED categories.

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is one of the world`s most popular environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings.
